This is my first Squiggle stamp but I don't think it will be my last! Delivery was really fast and I also received 2 freebie dinky stamps, one of which is the Hey Cupcake sentiment on these cards. ATC for Crafty Place swap

The theme for this month's ATC swap over on Crafty Place was Fantasy. Aggrrhhh I thought as I don't have much in the way of suitable stash. I then remembered a very cute litte stamp set that was given to me by the lovely Mel and the rest went from there. Oona I'm glad you liked it xxx
Supplies:
Image and sentiment - SU Ink & More coloured with Promarkers and loads of Frosted Lace Stickles
Paper - Spring Fling by Wild Rose Studio
Adhesive pearls - stash
Cardstock - stash

Cards I've received...

When I saw a gorgeous bracelet on Karen's blog, I asked her if she could make me one and she did - whoo hoo! In the parcel with the bracelet was the beautiful pocket card below and 2 packs of Pirate chocolate coins for my two boys. I can't photograph the packs cos they have lomg been eaten and however I try to photograph the bracelet it doesn't look right? Think it must be too sunny ;-)

These two cards were sent to me by Niki in the Crafty Place card swap. The theme was summer and as you can see these are very summery looking cards. The sunflower card is so clever and has a Stampin Up Treat Cup on it full of dinky sunflowers for me to use. How clever is that, I had only thought of popping sweets in the cups!

Thank you both for such fab cards xxx

Another box, this one for my mum

As lots of you know, my mum is celebrating a big-ish birthday next week. I have made a box to house her pressies in. I bought her a china figurine from a range that she collects and made a little cross stitch trinket pot and popped in a sixpence from the year she was born. I have also made up a box of my cards. I am also planning an afternoon tea with my lot, my mum and dad and my brother and his partner. I am going to be busy this coming week planning what to bake and even going to try making some jam!

Anyway, back to the box ;-)

The box itself is the largest of a set of 3 bare boxes from Papermania. I have painted it with the most gorgeous of blues acrylic paint. It took 3 coats to get a nice even finish. I then decorated the lid with beautiful floral paper and a gorgeous Tilda. I finished the box lid with a piece of the most beautiful lace ever that was given to me by my lovely friend Jennie x

I would like to enter this box into the ollowing challenges:

Tools - scissors used to distress the edges of the card & paper

A box for some beautiful jewellery

I bought this gorgeous bracelet and earrings from Crafty Ju Ju Designs, they are lovely and a pressie for my SIL so I wanted to try and package them nicely. I decided to make a pizza style box and followed the instructions on the very fab SCS site. The box was so easy to make, will be making more of these I think ;-)

So here's the box, it's 4x4". I used some beautiful MME papers, I've had these for a while but haven't been able to bring myself to cutting them up till now! I made the fan fold flower again from a tutorial that I saw a while ago but can't remember where?

Papers - Lush, MME from Dies To Die For

A card for Tams

My lovely friend Tams has had a crappy week from being in hospital suffering awful pain in her back and leg. I live loads of miles away and felt helpless, what could I do to help? My First MCFC DT Card!!!

Whoo hoo this is my very first DT card for Magical Crafts Fortnightly Challenges blog. I was rather nervous about what to do for my first ever DT card and decided to let the paper do the talking and not to use any images or Promarkers on my card - I know, unusual for me ;-)

Over at MCFC there is a fabby sketch to follow for this fortnight's challenge, challenge 14...
Please go and have a look at the rest of the DT cards, they are fabulous!!! The prize this time is a $10 voucher for Simon Says Stamp :-)

So here's my card. I used lots of different papers from the DCWV Linen Closet stack (newly aquired from The Range). Some of the papers are textured and glittered and so I haven't added much in the way of detail. Hope you like it x

Supplies:
Papers - DCWV Linen Closet from The Range
Sentiment - stamp by SU, Inks and More. I got the Butterfly Garden stamp set from my lovely friend Mel but you can buy it at Dies to Die For
Flowers - Brown flat flowers punched with Woodware punch, mini roses from Wild Orchid Crafts
Pearls - Basic Grey from Every Moment Matters
Tools: Woodware scroll punch, paper piercer (used to pierce holes in the scallops of the brown circle), Woodware scallop circle punch, Hobbycraft butterfly punch, Woodware flower punch

A Stair Step Card

I've made my first stair step card using the fab tutorial on the Whimsie Doodles blog and my new Martha Stewart Scoreboard, it took literally seconds to make the card base and the rest of the week for me to decide how to decorate it ;-)

The card is for my mum who has been poorly now for a few weeks with a horrible infection in her ear and face. I am hoping the card will put a little smile on her face and I purposefully made it bright and cheery, be careful when looking as it's pretty bright!

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges if I may:
Allsorts - Week 50, Animals (birds & butterflies)
Cute Card Thursday - Challenge 110, Make Your Own (I made the card blank and lots of embellies for the card)
MSE - 3 b's challenge set by the lovely Padster (my b's are: butterflies, bling, birds, beaks, branches, bark, braid, border, Basic Grey, buttons, blooms and bright colours)
The pic below hopefully shows the dimension on the card. I've used lots of 3d foam pads for the birds and their wings. For the flowers I have cut them with a punch and then crumpled the paper up and opened again so the petals are raised but in an irregular way (does that make sense?).
Supplies:
French Vanilla Bazzill cardstock
White embossed cardstock - Craftwork Cards
Papers - Basic Grey Green At Heart from The Secret Crafter
Sentiment - Paper Make Up stamp only $1 in the sale!
Buttons - Basic Grey Lemonade (I think?)
Braid/string - stash
Tools - Woodware flower punch, Craftwork Cards template, Hobbycraft butterfly punch
