Good afternoon, I am popping on to announce the winner of my Allsorts birthday blog hop candy. It is...drum roll please... Lindsay Craftymonster81. Congratulations Lindsay can you please email me (see link in my sidebar) your snail mail addy and I'll pop your goodies in the post asap.
Many thanks to everyone who took part in our blog hop and joining in with our special birthday challenge.
See you all tomorrow morning for a brand new Allsorts challenge x
Well we're half way through the school break and the weather started off beautifully and it turned wet, wet, wet yesterday and the rain is still hanging about :-( Indoor play centre for me and the monkeys today I think.
I bought some of The Hobby House pre-coloured toppers several weeks ago and finally got round to using a couple. This is my first card, it was so easy to put together with no colouring...
Today we are celebrating our fourth birthday at Allsorts challenge. So in time honoured fashion we are having a fun blog hop as well as this week's theme which could only be one thing really...
easy is that :-) I have made a card with a cute owl image from Digi Darla Designs and some gorgeous owl paper that I love, I've been waiting for a special reason to use this and our 4th birthday challenge is it ;-)
Here's a close up of the shiny eyes and sparkly flower centres...

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
you get lost you can always go back to the Allsorts blog and start again. As I know
there are always new people joining us here in blog land I will briefly
explain. You need to visit each of the DT's blogs and collect a letter
from each (I hope I've given you enough Clues to guess my letter!) and don't forget to leave a comment as we all have
another prize to be won, then arrange those letters into a word and mail your answer to Brenda (email@example.com). Then at the end of the week two winners will be selected from all the correct answers to win these prizes:
We are celebrating our 4th Birthday at Allsorts on Saturday 25th May. Of course we can't let the occasion pass by without a bit
celebration which will include lots of prizes to be won as well as a
Blog Hop and would love it if you would grab the logo above to pop on
your own blogs to help us spread the word.
Good morning, it's time for a new challenge at Allsorts and our theme this week is 'True Blue', as chosen by yours truly. I'd like you to use blue as the main colour on your project but you can use other colours too. Our wonderful sponsors are FlonzCraft and The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop.
So onto my DT card, well as it's my challenge I've actually made 2 ;-)
The first one uses a gorgeous WOJ image that I bought from the lovely Pops when she had a stash declutter. This beauty has been in my 'to ink' pile for far too long :-( I've used loads of blooms and the last of some gorgeous lace...
Here's a card using a beautiful Whimsy Stamps April release digital image designed by Crissy Armstrong called Butterfly Flourish Set 1 (I've used the sideways image). I've used quite a few dies and I just love the floral paper.
This is a bit for a sad post for me as it's my last as a Whimsy Stamps designer. I've had a blast since being asked to join the team back in August 2011 but have decided to now step down as work/life is going at 100 miles an hour and crafting is having to take a step (or rather several steps!) back :-( I would like to say a HUGE thank you to Denise, Debbie and the DT ladies for putting up with me on the team for so long x
So onto my DT card, I have used a fab sporty image by Marika Collins called Basketballer available from our sponsor Whimsy Stamps and a cheeky sentiment ;-) Hope you like it...
Image - Basketballer by Marika Collins from Whimsy Stamps coloured with Promarkers & Flexmarkers
Sentiment - from the City Talk set by Raindrop Echo Designs from Whimsy Stamps
Paper - Happy Days by Papermania
Ribbon - The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop
Pearls & buttons - stash
Other - brown chalk ink pad
Please do come and join us over at Allsorts this week for our challenge x
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
Other - circle & scallop circle Nestabilities dies, Quickutz corner die, brown chalk inkpad
Don't forget you don't have to use a Whimsy item to enter the challenge (it
would be great if you did though!).
Don't forget also...as well as 3 random
winners (yep I did say 3!) being chosen each challenge one lucky player who has
used a Whimsy Stamps image (rubber or digital) will have the opportunity to be
a Guest Designer for a future challenge. If you have
used a Whimsy Image and would like to be a future guest please add GDT to your
name when entering. The Guest Designer will be able to choose a digi
stamp of their choice from the store to create their guest card too!
Remember anyone can enter our challenge and we don't mind you combining with
other challenges either! All we ask is that you add a link in your blog
post to tell your friends you entered the Whimsy
Stamps Inspirations Challenge.
Good morning, I've scheduled this post as we are currently on our way to Legoland Windsor to spend the day with the lovely Tams and her family. It should be a fab day :-)
Now back to business, it's time for a new challenge at Allsorts and our theme this week is 'Add Some Sparkle'. Easy hey! Our wonderful sponsors are Digistamp Boutique and PPR Crafts.
So onto my DT card, I have gone all out for blue on my card, it is my fave colour so make no excuses ;-) I love the Digistamp Boutique image I've used, she's called Daisy and Cake and comes with the sentiment. My 'added sparkle' is on the candle of Daisy's cake, so only a little sparkle but it is there...
All Whimsy Stamps digital images are 300dpi for high print
quality. You can re-size, flip, or rotate to fit your own project. To find
all of today's new releases please visit theWhimsy Stamps Store.
Don't forget to leave comments along the way as there will be 2 mystery
DT Members who will each be choosing a winner from the comments left on their
hop posts! These winners can each win a Whimsy digital image of their choice.
The Grand Prize winner of the hop will be
chosen from the very last stop, which is Judith Hall'sBlog. This winner will
receive 5 digital stamps of their choice from the Whimsy Stamps Store.
The hop will run for 1 week and end on Wednesday 8th May at 12
Noon EST, when the lucky winners will be announced on the Whimsy Stamps blog.
Below is a complete list of the hop in case you get lost along
So onto my card for the hop. I chose to make a card using the gorgeous new Full Bloom 2 image by StampArt Design. The image comes with 4 bonus sentiments, one of which I have used on my card here. I recently bought a new Basic Grey paper pad called Mint Julep, just love these papers so expect to see lots of them ;-) I've gone all bold with lots of red...
A close up of the sentiment, this is one of four that come with the image...
