Summer Girls...

Good morning, phew what a week! Have had a poorly boy to look after. He's well on the mend now but we had a tough couple of days. It's time for a new challenge at Allsorts and our theme is 'Summer Girls' hosted by the lovely Mervi. Our wonderful sponsors are Flonzcraft & Buttons For Brains.

Flonz $20 store gift voucher Also 12% discount offered on purchases to those entering the challenge   Button for Brains

As soon as I saw the theme for this week's challenge I knew the stamp I wanted to use. It's a gorgeous silhouette design of girls playing outside by Flonzcraft. These stamps are so easy to use and require no colouring ;-) I think the paper screams summertime with all the pretty flowers, I hope you agree...

I wanted to show you the card I made for my dad for Father's Day. I love this image and my dad spends loads of time tinkering around in the garden when the weather allows so it is ideal. A One Layer Card

Good morning, it's time for a new challenge at Allsorts and our theme is 'A One Layer Card' hosted by the lovely Jo. Our wonderful sponsor is Craft Bag

http://www.craftbag.co.uk/

This was a real challenge for me as I don't tend to make one layer cards, I like layers and embellies galore! I opted for a CAS one layer card. I stamped my wintery image and coloured it then added some black doodling lines around the sleigh and snowflakes with a fineliner pen. I added some teeny glittery gems to the centres of my snowflakes and baker's twine. Not sure these are strictly elements for a one layer card but all the space just freaked me out, apologies if I haven't quite fulfilled the brief Jo :-(

Close up of my super cute image...

Supplies:
Image - Winter Bunny by Lawn Fawn coloured with Promarkers
Baker's Twine & glitter gems - stash
Other - Letraset black fineliner, brown chalk inkpad
